How will I know if I need PEX or copper repiping for my Los Angeles home?
If your water looks rusty, if you’re experiencing plumbing leaks, if corrosion is present, if you’re scalded in the shower when other water sources are run, or if your water pressure is low, call your Miranda plumber for the Los Angeles area for an assessment of your current plumbing system and a free repiping estimate, if necessary.

Do you offer a warranty?
Every Miranda Plumbing Co. job is accompanied by a Lifetime Guarantee & Limited Warranty, in which Miranda’s Los Angeles plumber covers parts and labor for the lifetime of the home, or as long as the purchasing homeowner resides there.

Can the Lifetime Guarantee and Limited Warranty be transferred?
Yes, for a reasonable fee, Miranda Plumbing Co. will transfer the original warranty to a new homeowner, as long as that new homeowner can produce the original warranty and proof of home purchase.

Is there a manufacturer’s warranty on your PEX and copper piping?
Yes. The copper piping carries a 50 year warranty, while PEX carries a 25 year warranty.  These warranties are only applicable if the materials are installed by a manufacturer-approved plumber, like Miranda Plumbing.

How can I get an estimate?
Simply call 818-591-8100 to schedule a free, onsite estimate for PEX or copper repipe services for the Los Angeles area, as well as for complete general plumbing services.

Will Miranda’s plumber leave a mess?
Absolutely not.  We promise that our plumbers will leave your home and your surrounding property in the same, or better, condition that when they arrived.  Any damages are fully covered by the Lifetime Guarantee & Limited Warranty.

How will it take to PEX or copper repipe my Los Angeles home?
Generally, a copper or PEX repiping job in Los Angeles only takes one day.  But, if more time is required, overnight water service will be restored for use while we’re gone.

Will you leave my job to complete another job?

Will my walls be restored after plumbing replacement or repair?
Yes.  Following final inspection and approval, Miranda’s plumber in Los Angeles will patch all opened walls, restoring them to clean and smooth surfaces, ready for painting or finishing.

What type of copper piping do you use?
Miranda’s plumber in Los Angeles uses only L-type hard copper piping, not soft copper piping that can kink, leak, and corrode easily.

What is PEX piping?
“PEX” stands for Engel-method crosslinked polyethylene tubing.  Especially durable in aggressive water situations, where copper repiping could result in pitting or corrosion, PEX repiping for Los Angeles homes and businesses is a viable alternative.

    Drains

Fill a glass with very hot water and pour it slowly into the drain. If this doesn’t clear the clog, remove the drain cover and visually inspect the drain. Remove any hair or debris that could be causing the slow drainage. At this point, you could choose to try a chemical drain opener, or you could call Miranda’s plumber Los Angeles to inspect, clean, and return your drain to optimum operation.
